Shattered Dreams is a hack’n'slash, text-based roleplaying game (MUD) suited for playerkillers, non-playerkillers and roleplayers alike. Re-established in 2009, Shattered Dreams builds on nearly 20 years of active development of DIKUMUD and its heritage. It is feature-filled, mature and home to hundreds of people from all walks of life who come here to relax, socialize and maybe even kill a few trolls. SDMUD is virtual escapism when it’s best.
What is a MUD?
A MUD (Multiple User Dimension, Multiple User Dungeon, or Multiple User Dialogue) is a computer program which users can log into and explore. Each user takes control of a computerized avatar, or character.
