- SD has a new Non-PK clan, The Blue Rose, led by Gigi!
- Spell proficiency now acts as a damage modifier rather than as a factor in determining whether your spell will succeed. Spells should succeed much more often, even at low skill levels, now.
- AFK is a little nicer now — tells you when you go AFK, makes sure your prompt is shown if you have any tells waiting, and looks a bit nicer, too.
- Fixed a few typos (allready -> already, ‘in affect’ -> ‘in effect’.
PS: Thanks for all of the bug notes. Keep them coming — they’re not forgotten, just haven’t had time to fix most of them.
A new area, Mirronage, has been added!
Fixed a bug that caused objects and affects to multiple whenever a player reconnected from a lost link or entered a wrong password when logging in. This also caused multiple results in results for abilities like ‘locate object’.
- The
infocommand now shows total time played, e.g.:
“178 days, 47 minutes and 45 seconds”
(That one is actually genuine, *shiver*)
- The
timecommand has been remade - The
fingercommand now shows how long ago the player was last seen (i.e. 7 days, 2 hours, 30 minutes and 5 seconds ago) - Danish players can now use the æ, ø and å characters in chat
- Numeric color codes have been removed — character color codes can still be used. See
help colorfor more information whoisandfingerhave been remadepracticehas been remade and should no longer wrap on some clients
- The Purity of Order clan now recalls to the Order clan hall
- The
Word of Recallspell has been removed - Players no longer need to choose a home town on character creation

- All ancients can now use the pack command to send a low-level character a survival backpack containing the starting gear set.
- The commands command has been re-made and will now show commands by category, and in alphabetical order
If you think a command is mistakenly included in a certain category, send me a note stating the command and what category you think it should be in.
The command table was rearranged to facilitate this change. If a short-hand command (e.g. p for practice) now mysteriously matches another command, it’s not just you. Please send me a note stating what command and what short-hand you were using.
This change will take effect after the next maintenance reboot (see help reboot).
